Radar Level Gauge Calibration
The level of the liquid (or solid) is measured by radar signals transmitted from the antenna at the tank top. Liquid surface deflects the radar signal, creating echoes of disparate frequency from the signal transmitted.
The differential between frequencies is proportional to the height of the liquid surface from the tank top and is used to accurately calculate the liquid (or solid) level. This method is called FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) and is used in all high- performance radar gauges.
Despite being contaminant-sensitive, the radar sensors remain unaffected by fluctuations of temperature and pressure including vacuum pressure, increasing measurement ease and accuracy.
Fabrication
Our fabrication capability is extensively range to include design engineering, mechanical and process calculation for equipment, pressure vessel, piping & skid structures.
